RsyncNavigator is a tool to implement and manage 'rsync' operations for local server-to-server synchronization or integrate seamlessly with our Offsite Filesystem.

This light weight utility will take the guess work out of setting up secure data synchronization between servers, locally or remotely, utilizing 'rsync'.

Installation:

1. The file is a standard gzipped tarfile with an absolute path.

The installation directory will be:

/usr/local/rsnav

2. Once the file has been trasnferred to your Linux server, gunzip and extract the file with the following commands:

# gunzip rsnavigator.tar.gz  
# tar xvf /tmp/rsyncnavigator.tar.gz


Make sure that the 'P' is an uppercase P.  That will ensure that the leading slash is not stripped, preserving the
absolute path.

All files should be extracted to:   /usr/local/rsnav

3. To execute RsyncNavigator:

#  cd /usr/local/rsanv

#  ./rsn


This will bring up the menu interface.  Please download the setup and configuration PDF for instructions on setting up
